RINSE Cafe is both a treat for fans of minimalist decor and coffee connoisseurs alike, as the cafe environment is simple and unobtrusive. Well lit with white walls and functional, unpretentious furnishings and a tastefully selected Medusa-head neon piece that frames on one wall, it’s almost spartan here. Which makes sense, considering how the owner, Mervin, wants you to focus on the coffee instead.

Operated by the same people who founded the popular Artisan Roastery, Someplace Beautiful is a chic, cute interpretation of the minimalist formula. Located in Sentul’s new trendy D7 Sentul complex, the cafe is housed within the silhouette of a ‘home’ in its own store, where patrons may enjoy their drink and food Little-House-on-The-Prairie style, if the film had been directed by Marie Kondo.

Sporting a super minimalist, almost all-white interior dining space, the establishment has since become a favourite among Instagram foodies that enjoy the minimalist vibe.

• The dessert menu offers a step away from the usual fare seen in other cafes; try the vanilla souffle.
